Non-urgent advice: Please note

We no longer take prescription requests over the telephone.

To request a repeat prescriptions please order through the following ways: 

  • Access one of the mobile patient access apps – NHS appMyGP or Patient Access  – we can send you a link to get started in creating an account.
  • We have a post box in the porch at the practice – please use the tear off slip from your previous prescription, tick which items you wish to order and post in the box.  If you do not have the tear off slip, please write your name, address and the items you need on a piece of paper.

Add your name, date of birth, contact number and medication items and which chemist you want to collect your prescription from. 

Please allow at least 48 hours for your prescription to be issued.

Prescription orders will not be taken over the telephone except for the elderly, house bound or disabled.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
