Well Man Clinic

We hold clinics for men, to advice on health matters. We ask and advise about your lifestyle, check height, weight, and blood pressure and test a urine specimen. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions regarding your health matters.

Well Woman Clinic

We hold the same clinics for women but with additional aspects. We recommend all women have a cervical smear test at regular intervals. Our Doctors and Nursing team are trained to provide full Family Planning Services, contraceptive injections, oral contraception and contraceptive advice.

Each year the practice offers flu vaccinations to patients at risk. These include the elderly and those who have diabetes, asthma, COPD and heart problems. Shingles vaccination for the over 70’s. NHS travel vaccinations. These vaccinations are given by the Nursing team.     

Our MSK Specialist Will hold a clinic every Wednesday and gives advice on pain control including joint injections.

The surgery offers a minor surgery service. Dr Kanitkar currently performs joint injections and minor surgery.  

Our Nursing team review Diabetic patients annually and checks on their progress.

Our Practice Nurse will assess patients’ needs and keeps a track on the annual progress of the patient.

A clinic is held with our Nursing team who discusses the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and how you can reduce the risk of heart disease.

These clinics are held with the Doctor and Nurse. All Doctors are approved for Child Health Surveillance.
